Looking at that map I see an area of blue (increased water) in the western US that seems most heavily concentrated in Wyoming and Colorado - it’s hard to tell exactly.

If you look at maps of watersheds, it appears that only part of this increased water area exists within the Colorado River watershed, and the increase is more than made up for by decreases elsewhere.

The big beneficiary appears to be the Missouri River watershed. Colorado and Wyoming can (and probably are) play hardball with negotiations regarding the Colorado River Compact because they can build new reservoirs outside the compact that are going to get filled up by increasing rainfall…
