Businesses Still Need Landlines

I find that landlines actually have an advantage for customers too, at least of brick-and-mortar businesses: when you call, you're talking to someone who is actually there. Now that so many things you might previously call for can now be handled via apps or websites, some of the remaining ones are tied to physical presence. I'm thinking of stuff like "I think I left my jacket on the chair" or "Do you have any tamales left?"
