Show HN: Llamafiles – browser-based file tools (no server client-side)

Hi HN,

I built Llamafiles, a growing suite of browser-based file tools. Everything runs entirely on the client side. no server, no uploads, and nothing leaves your browser.

Why I made it:

- I wanted simple, private tools without worrying about uploading files to random servers.

- Most converters and editors rely on backends, which can be slow or insecure.

What it does right now:

- A set of basic file utilities (all in-browser).

- Lightweight and accessible.

- No tracking, no accounts, no dependencies.

What’s next:

- I’ll keep adding new tools.

- The UI still needs a lot of polish, but I launched anyway to get real-world feedback.
