I think it's even easier than that. Palantir is hot because the US is gearing up for a much greater crackdown on freedom and liberty, and getting ready to wage war.

This is readily apparent.

This is not at all apparent from other patterns in military procurement and stock prices. Lockheed and Boeing have been completely flat (± normal variance) for a long time, and the military is doing nothing (or very little) to boost domestic production and readiness.
