It's mRNA as well as a vaccine. Sentiment in the USA, and national leadership, is broadly turning against both of these. How much future is in this?

I think the sentiment is there because there hasn't been enough testing of mRNA-based vaccines and we are now seeing life threatening side effects.

The other issue is that big pharma has immunity from most lawsuits. The Democrats used to be against big pharma before 2016, but now seem to be in bed with them.

I guess it will ultimately depend on effectiveness regardless of any trends in public opinion.

Maybe I am missing information but the only tangentially relevant news I have read is Trump allegedly cancelling some funding for research on mRNA vaccines for viruses like the flu.
