With the stories of immense productivity gains for the last ~6 months due to adoption of tools utilizing language models, I’m curious to know if you have anecdotes or evidence of a more rapid pace of improvement to the software you use.

Siggraph 2025 is in a few days, and I can see a few emerging technologies cross the finish line to be production software.

No, I don't feel like there are notable improvements because certain updates can be word but it's slowly gets a little better but I wouldn't so A remarkable one

Local agentic coding is literally improving by the day lately. Practically everything that's happened has happened in the last like 6 months.

No. Vim gets gradually better, but no sudden jumps. pacman has gotten faster subjectively, that might be parallel downloads.

On android, it seems like autocorrect has gotten more aggressive and a little stupider. Chrome is doing dumber things.
