There is conflicting information about this issue

For Example

FROM https://www.wsj.com/opinion/gaza-starvation-photos-tell-a-th... and https://www.theaustralian.com.au/business/the-wall-street-jo... articles ....

Over the weekend, I embedded with the Israel Defense Forces in Gaza, where I saw the enormous quantities of humanitarian aid the United Nations has been refusing to distribute. What struck me most were the thousands upon thousands of pounds of baby food, baking under the Middle Eastern sun — jar after jar of mashed carrots, pureed potatoes and fruit blends. This food could have gone to children

....... Story then specifically discusses other sick children children being exploited by Hamas

Further ...That harm was clear to me in Gaza, where I stood surrounded by nearly 600 trucks worth of food, water and diapers, all ready to be delivered. The UN refused to do the job, saying it couldn’t operate safely with Israeli protection. Instead it asked that security be provided by the “Gaza Blue Police” — a euphemism for Hamas’s internal security forces. This is the same group the U.N. has repeatedly accused of stealing aid, including in October 2023, only weeks after the Hamas-led massacre......

Humans, they are humans too you see if you say anything about this you will be in grave trouble, if you try to do something good you will pay for it. Not many are even commenting here which tells you why they are avoiding this.

I would guess the lack of comments to be partly because this only has a political solution and partly because the article is paywalled.

I can at least help with the second: https://archive.ph/2025.07.30-200830/https://www.vox.com/wor...

I thought the article was a decent review of the situation. It goes without saying the situation is a bad one.

Why Israel does not accept refugees from Gaza? It would starve Hamas of human shields! They could destroy terrorists without harming civilians!

Israel is rich, and can easily afford this! Lebanon is much poorer country, but they accepted millions refugees!

Let's see what happened to Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan when they accepted Palestinian refugees. Violent insurgency or outright civil wars.

It's not primarily a hunger "crisis", but a genocide perpetrated by Israel in full daylight for the world to see. They are turning Gaza into a death camp and the scenes unfolding are much like the horrors of nazi ghettos and camps.
