Over the past few months, we've been developing SnapBlend, a photo editing app focused on creativity and visual aesthetics. The main innovation: allowing users to place text behind objects in the photo itself—a depth effect that normally requires complex editing, but here happens instantly on a phone.
In addition, I created vintage filters, Polaroid-style frames, retro effects (VHS, grainy, soft blur), and social media-ready templates.
When I started promoting the app, I didn't really know what to expect. To my surprise, by sharing the story and the creation process, I got 4,000 to 5,000 views in just 5 days. This completely changed the trajectory of the project.
