I mean, OK, whatever works... we put up curtains and close them when the sun hits the windows, but if smearing yogurt on your windows is more your vibe, I ain't judging.

I live in a two floor home in So CO. I use what I learned very young: hot air rises, cool air sinks.

So when inside and outside temperatures match during the rising morning temps, I seal up the downstairs, and close all blinds except for north facing windows. As a habit, it takes almost no time and helps us maintain our status as the bottom 2% of energy consumers in the region.
