When I look for monitoring tools, why do New Relic ads shoot in my face?

I want to monitor pricing of amazon products for my small business and please don't say camelcamelcamel.

But everytime I google, these New Relic, Dynatrace and other dev monitoring tools just takeover my screen. Why don't actual tools like distill, visualping show up? Why did I have to look through reddit threads to find these tools? Are these tools any good? Do they not have money to do some decent SEO or ads or am I searching wrong?

PS: An handicapped tech graduate with more understanding about plants than tech! Came to hacker news to find answers to questions that sound stupid but mean a lot to me in my entrepreneurial journey.

If you want to make money during a gold rush one strategy is to sell picks and shovels. I don’t know the whole story but vendors like New Relic have a huge marketing spend, you see them with huge booths at conferences.

Note Amazon could be short for “Amazon Web Services” so they are sure spending on “Amazon” as a keyword.
