Ask HN: Tool that turns your voice notes into narrated slide videos?

I'm building a tool that turns short voice memos (or bullet-point notes) into slide-based narrated videos, like a lightweight presentation with your voice and synced visuals.

How it works:

* Upload a voice memo (3–5 min) * It gets transcribed and broken into 5–7 slides (title + bullets) * Use your voice or a generated narration * Slides automatically sync to the timing of the narration * You get a shareable MP4 video (optionally: a PPTX + audio export)

It's meant for people who want to turn rough ideas into clear, presentable videos, without needing editing tools or design skills.

Use cases:

* Teachers turning lectures into explainers * Founders sending async updates * Coaches or consultants sharing insights * Podcasters making quick visual highlights

Would love your thoughts:

* Would you use something like this? * What use case comes to mind for you? * Does this solve a real workflow problem?

Happy to share a rough demo or create a sample from your voice note. Thanks for reading!

I think that's a cool project idea all on its own. I do wonder how many people get long voice memos? Maybe they do, I don't generally.

Good point! This is more for people who record voice notes to themselves: founders, teachers, coaches. It's often easier to talk through an idea than to write or design.

hummm! Thinking of adding text input too, but testing if voice-first has real traction.
