Kind of ridiculous. If you've ever actually read Ayn Rand, she was a competent writer with a talent for simile but had a remarkably simplistic and glorified view of pure capitalism that was obvious a psychosis from her early days when her father's farmacy was nationalized. Her characterization of pure capitalism and rationality as the only good any everyone else who disagrees as lazy (as in her book Atlas Shrugged), as well as her complete ignoring of the commons and other non-human creatures, has become a religion for some. Trump himself of course loves Ayn Rand.
Rather represensible, although her literature gives insight into the mind of the enemy.

Given the length of _Atlas Shrugged_ (1168 pages) I would wager my entire earthly possessions that he’s never read it. But possibly he’s been advised to like Ayn Rand in theory.

>Top Gun: Maverick and Taylor Sheridan’s nostalgic, libertarian-inflected Yellowstone. And a longstanding Christian culture industry has backed projects like the 2023 film Sound of Freedom, a dramatization of child trafficking that grossed more than $242 million for Provo’s Angel Studios. The Christian drama The Forge earned $30 million on a $6 million budget last year.
There’s good evidence that this is an untapped market which normal studios are too afraid to tap.
I don’t think it’s ridiculous at all. If you listen to people on the right they have felt unrepresented in popular entertainment for a long time, and these successes are evidence that they are willing to pay for entertainment which aligns with their values.
