From my interpretation:

I feel like this maybe is one of those discussions where a developer who does the work address something technical and IMO they're not fundamentally wrong, but neither is anyone else?

With these kinds of developer discussions (even here on HN) I often see:

- Folks take issue with individual phrases used by the dev that may or may not even relate to the app?

- A dev, speaking within the boundaries of their time and a given project and codebase says it's not feasible to do X. Others respond that yes it is, but they're speaking globally. Example: If my employer told me to "make facebook" yeah in a global sense I could do that... eventually. At the same time in terms of my current skills, time constraints, I can't do that. Yes and no are both "correct".
