I wrote this after wrestling with a feeling I'm sure many of you have noticed: the internet is becoming saturated with AI-generated content that feels hollow, and it's getting harder to find real signal.
My take is that trying to be "better" than AI is a losing game. The only durable strategy is to play a different one entirely: building a personal monopoly on your own unique perspective, taste, and conviction. This essay is my attempt to lay out a framework for how to think about that.
I've been a PM and founder in tech for a while, and this is a topic I'm passionate about. I'd love to hear the community's thoughts and critiques.
