Show HN: Dittofeed – Embed Messaging Features in Your App

Hi HN, Chandler from Dittofeed here. We’ve made a way to embed messaging features into any application because we saw a lot of engineers reimplementing the same things like drag and drop workflow builders, user segmentation builders, and template editors. This is especially true in vertical SaaS where you may have an app for healthcare providers, for example, and you want to give them communication tools to reach out to patients. It’s a non-trivial lift to build messaging features, and it can end up taking engineering teams 6-12 months to implement.

So now you can just consume any number of our embedded components as iframes and, by next month, as headless react components as well:

Looker was a strong inspiration for us, and it was apparent that messaging automation was in need of a similar approach. We have a range of companies that have successfully deployed our components to production, so it seemed like a good time to let the internet know they’re ready to use.

Although we’re an open-source company and our base product is free, these components are a paid feature. You can either use our self-hosted license or our cloud. Reach out to [support@dittofeed.com](mailto:support@dittofeed.com) for an admin API key if interested.

If you just want to use our MIT-licensed base product as an alternative to Klaviyo, Iterable, MailChimp, etc. you can find it here:

Would love any feedback you have!

So this would be for my users to email their users?

exactly! it's multi-channel, so they could send/automate email, sms, mobile push, etc.
