It seems younger individuals find it easier to talk to, confide in, and trust an AI. Maybe that's worth exploring than trying to prevent access

younger individuals (children) do not find it easier to talk to adults.
That is why those qualified psychotherapists who work with children have been through specific training to work with children. Working with children is not the same as working with adults.
children do find it difficult to talk and share stuff in the therapy.
Psychotherapist and play therapists use alternative methods to allow the child to express what they want to say without speaking, using different media.
This could be art, stories, drama, sand play work, puppet work, or just simply playing.
children do not have to speak to express what they want to say.
When I did my post graduate play therapy training I spent an entire year learning how to play.
adults slowly forget how to play. ai never learns how to play
would, for instance, an ai chatbot, notice after many therapy sessions, that when the child enacts family dramas in sand play. the child always places the father, or in the childs case, the giraffe, away from the rest of the family.
NO! ai would never see this or be able to link to the fact that the child puts the father (giraffe) outsde of the family unit because there is something frightening for the child. this maybe domestic violence or abuse in its many forms, it may simple be that the parents have been arguing a lot because of finacial pressures.
over time the child will share what is going on.
AI will never be able to replace the human element in childrens therapy.
