I can't believe lawmakers are focused on this when there is a nationwide rash of incidents where some lady breaks into a child's bedroom to steal their teeth. Leaving a quarter does NOT absolve anything

This is exactly what we said was going to happen. It's a regressive tooth tax after considering the opportunity cost (let's not pretend a quarter has any meaningful value).
The payout needs to be inflation adjusted.

We live in an era where it doesn't matter if things are real or not. Shamelessness replaced principles. Democracy degenerating into populist tyranny.

Surprised by Rhode Island, New Hampshire not a surprise. I doubt it will pass in RI, New Hampshire, you never know. NH has a rather unique legislature compared to the other States. But I tend to think it will not pass there either.

I mean, it's not really without precedence, is it? It's also illegal to kill a sasquatch for example.
