If the Palestinians wanted freedom they would not support anti western culture and terrorism. Because they continue to support anti humanity, they get to continue being the receiver of remediation. That remediation can exceed 500+ countries worth of carbon if necessary. It is worth the cost to put terrorist supporters in their place. They do not run things.

Israel has said that the leaders of Hamas are allowed to leave https://www.dw.com/en/netanyahu-says-hamas-leaders-will-be-a... . If they release the remaining hostages and do that, the war could end. The U.S. inflicted horrible damage on Germany and Japan in WWII until the governments of those countries were toppled. Israel similarly has the right to defend itself by destroying Hamas.

Israel has no right to "defend itself" from people whose territory it is illegaly occupying, much less to commit genocide. This has been affirmed multiple times in international courts, but since when did Israel care about iternational law?
