What's particularly interesting to point out, Japan doesnt even really get impacted by the 2030 worker shortage. If you're Germany, Russia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, or south korea its a set-in-stone reality that by 2030 your economy screeches to a halt. The workers in 2030 are already born.

The above countries are going to go through ~20% drops. Japan is only going to go through 5% drop and they've analyzed that it's a crisis.

Germany and Canada chose their path. Fill the gap with world war level immigration. Million immigrants per year from now until 2030 and we only drop 14%. Also offer government assisted suicide to the elderly and low productivity people.
