Than an influencer discussing some product they got for free. Like I don’t even blame the influencers I think it’s fine they do what they do. It’s more that it seems strange to me to have this artificial disconnect between the company selling the product and the consumer looking for products to buy. Old ad copy is much more honest in at least so far in its relationship between company and consumer.
It might be nostalgia or whatever but I would rather see ad copy like this:
