Mekondo Admin – Open Starter Kit for SaaS, React and Laravel, Dockerized

Hi all,

I just finished my first “serious” side project – a modular SaaS/admin starter kit built with React 18+, Laravel 10+ and Docker. I’m not a company or agency, just a developer (and yes, a woman in tech!) who wanted something practical, easy to use, and beginner-friendly.

What was missing from other kits?

Clean code with English comments (not spaghetti or half-translated snippets)

Out-of-the-box i18n and modular structure

Proper user/role management, not some hacked-together auth

Easy Docker deployment with ready-to-go .env configs

Demo data, seeders, docs that don’t take a week to read

What did I learn?

DevOps is harder than it looks (Docker ate two weekends!)

Most templates overcomplicate things

Sometimes, the best tool is the simplest one you build yourself
