Hey HN,

I'm Daniel Esteves, and I'm excited (and a bit nervous!) to share Screenshothis. I built this because, like many of you, I found myself constantly needing to capture website states for documentation, visual testing and even just og:images and was frustrated with the manual effort or clunky existing solutions for automation.

Screenshothis is a straightforward, developer-focused API designed to: * *Automate screenshot capture:* Full page, specific elements, custom viewports. * *Provide granular control:* Set delays, block ads/trackers, choose formats (JPEG/PNG), adjust quality, and more. * *Integrate seamlessly:* Get a simple URL to embed or use the image directly in your workflows.

The goal was to create something reliable, fast, and that just works without a steep learning curve. No more repetitive manual captures.
