Ask HN: Startup founders, ICs, workaholics – how do you avoid excess?

The last 18 months I've been feeling like I'm always chasing the to do list, also achieving, but always more to do. It's endless. Tiresome. I push myself too hard. I've been saying I need to step back, get away, work different. I've decided a 10 day total break from all work. And a more sane and stable way to work whenever I get back to it. What did you find worked for you? To accomplish, but take care of yourself and work in a healthy way.
