I'm hoping someone at Meta is lurking here and can help me. The only Admin of our local "Free Items in [my town]" FB group died a few weeks ago, and there doesn't seem to be a way for someone else to pick it up. Can someone help?

Can the S.O. of the Admin send a dead certificate and get temporal access to assign a new Admin?

Can you make a new group and post a message on the old group to redirect everyone to the new group?
