Some say it's "taking the easy way out" or does not address the food problem. Given that 80% of the country overweight now, 'we' need all the help we can get. I think it's more realistic to increase access to these drugs than the overhaul society.

A lot of people struggle with weight loss, even when exercising and counting calories, and these drugs help, no doubt. Moreover, "healthy" foods can be very calorie dense, too, like granola, cheese, milk, nuts, butters. The issue is overeating . Obese people tent to overeat too much in general. This drug makes it harder to do that.
