We appear to be seeing similar things in Denmark: https://mobilsiden.dk/nyheder/opkoblede-biler/tal-om-elbiler...

According to these numbers, as of 2025, 65.5% of cars sold are purely electric and sales of electric vehicles are up significantly, compared to the same period in 2024. However, sales of Teslas has gone from 18.0% of electric vehicle sales in 2024 (making it the most popular brand at the time), to 6.3% of sales in 2025 (making it the 5. most popular brand)

I guess they just don't like cars run by non-fossil fuels.

Well, no: "Sweden’s EV Market in January 2025: 14.4% YoY increase" (https://alternative-fuels-observatory.ec.europa.eu/general-i...)

Not sure about Sweden, but in general in Europe electric car sales are rising; it's just that Tesla sales are calling. Carface is not, you will note, the only manufacturer of electric cars, nor even the biggest one in the European market (that'd be VW Group these days).
