Trump admin strips pollution monitoring from new weather satellites

it's mindless and only going to send all of the interested traffic to european or other(Canadian) sources for basic data, and this will only accelerate the demise of American science by putting more senior scientists out of work.... I have to wonder if, California might decide it needs it's own space program and satelite network to meet the targets it has set, but in some mad twist of reality has to book flights on an asian or european rocket. bonkers
