Serious people? The Wall Street Journal? It’s too hard to keep listening.
Chomsky is interesting to a point. Unfortunately, he’s ultimately yet another academic - who ultimately plays a role in The System - that doesn’t get out enough, and put his boots on the ground enough.
Serious people? He no longer qualifies.

You said nothing about what he said.

Exactly.
He’s not worth listening to.
He’s simply another (Left-y) elite, living in isolation, who believes he’s somehow smarter and better than the rest of us. A self-declared “intellectual “ who should:
a) Should stay in his lane
b) Get out more and experience the life of the masses he looks down his nose at.
c) Realize this cleverness isn’t impressive (outside his bubble of fellow intellectuals)
When he says something worth commenting on, I’ll consider taking the time.
The point is, he and his ilk keep talking and nothing they say is proving effective. Yes, he’s well spoken. He’s a cocktail party wet dream. But FFS enough already. He’s insanity in the flesh.
