Meta Hypernova: The first real contender for the post-Smartphone era

This will be interesting to see play out. Not just Meta, not this specific device, but the entire ecosystem.

For the first time there is now a device-class which can replace the "consumption" aspect of a smartphone, with the potential to start a journey away from the smartphone as the main device...

Static HUDs are annoying and inflexible, either completely in your way or at the corner of your eyeline. ~100 degree FOV, 6DOF, eye and finger tracking or bust.
