I'm using GPT5 on Cursor and it honestly doesn't feel all that much better compared to Claude Sonnet 4 - it's definitely slower as well. I still find it making errors at about the same rate, maybe 10% better max. It's free which is good at least, and like the article says it's more usable - it hasn't told me I'm absolutely right once.
I'm not feeling the AGI with this one, I'm happy about that. If the leap from 4 to 5 was like the leap from 3 to 3.5 or 3.5 to 4 it would be very concerning, I don't think society would be able to keep up with it.

Same feel. GPT5 seem on par with Sonnet/Opus, but cheaper. Never expected LLMs entering price war so soon.
