Hey HN,

A couple of months ago, my brother and I built a little macOS cli app for ourselves. The idea was to remove tracking parameters from share urls from Instagram, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, Tiktok, etc. Also, URL shorteners.

A bit later, after seeing a lot of "quishing" attacks here in Ireland, we ported it iOS and added support for scanning QR codes and previewing (and expanding) URLs from QR codes. This is something the iOS camera app doesn't do.

Today, we've released it on the App Store. It's completely free and also free from tracking, analytics, ads etc. It currently supports ~250 websites and apps, and about two dozen URL shorteners. We'll likely add support for more in the near future.

If you try it out, I'd appreciate any feedback.
