The aim of the game is to create awareness among data ownership rights, e.g.:

The game was inspired by the incredible work of the EPIC Air Quality Fund, which is fighting to expand access to air quality data. Their research revealed that nearly 40% of countries lack open air quality data—often because restrictive corporate terms prevent communities from truly owning their environmental information.
