The position of the author (ChatGPT) is literally: "My opinions are legit and wise, your opinions are magical thinking that are killing humanity."

And some of his legit/wise opinions are completely schizo, like:

> "it's wrong to push for peace in Ukraine,"

> "addressing Climate Change requires mass mobilization and global cooperation on a scale exceeding WWII, nothing less will do,"

> "the US government/judiciary is corrupt."

I have a hard time fathoming the mind that can simultaneously believe those three things and believe that non-magical solutions exist. (Would you trust a corrupt state + Russia + China + India to come together to tackle global warming? How can you believe with such ironclad confidence that you know the truth of what's happened/happening in Ukraine, to such an extent that you would disdain efforts made towards peace?)

> "it's wrong to push for peace in Ukraine,"

You can't use your own words and frame it as a quote. That isn't what the article says. Everyone wants peace, but not at any price, which is the magical thinking.

Dude, how is this anything but "it's wrong to push for peace in Ukraine"?

> We see this magical thinking everywhere in contemporary discourse. When Russia invades Ukraine, the “pro-peace” position says: “Just stop the fighting. Negotiate. Find compromise.” As if there’s meaningful compromise between a people defending their homes and an empire trying to erase their existence. As if Ukrainian surrender would create peace rather than eliminate Ukraine.

It says, in plain English, that negotiation and compromise are off the table. "As if there's meaningful compromise. . ."

The non-magical-thinking move is to keep throwing Ukrainian conscripts at Russia, I guess? Because they are the Forces of Good, and the Russians are Irredeemably Evil Invaders (orcs), and Good must prevail? I think that the author (a bot) has integrated too much of LotR/HarryPotter/StarWars and not enough sober analysis of history.

You seem to deliberately miss the point. The use of quotes signifies that you are quoting something, not your own interpretation. I think (hope) you know that.

On the more general issue what part of your own country would you be willing to give up?

Time heals all wounds.

All things end, more begin.

Don’t ever give up.

Don’t worry. Be happy.
