Preliminary Analysis of Bill C-2 and Canada’s Potential Data-Sharing Obligations

This race to know everything about people is really unsettling. Even calling it volunatry when there are other obligations such as interacting with governments often encouraging third parties, like Canada Revenue logons or computers with software run by third parties. It's very hard to escape sharing data with others and particapating in modern life.

I would love to see laws restricting the sharing and sale of data collected from consumers and the collection of unneccessary data in the first place.
