No offense, but this was built off 4 decades of actual scientific research and had nothing to do with AI.

They didn't decode anything. Just noticed that delfins had different whistles (and it took them 30 years - they should have asked somebody).
I was expecting a Google translate link for the dolphin language with, at least, "So long, and thanks for all the fish" translated, but, no, all they have there, is how good the Pixel phones are at recording dolphin language. Makes you wonder if you can use a Pixel to make a phone call. /s
