Hello HN,

I made Superstar Investors Tracker : chrome extension to discover common stocks among top Investors portfolios. Since a year, I've been contemplating building a tool to discover common stocks in top investors' portfolios. Now, amidst my job hunting, I finally had the opportunity to bring this idea to life. As an active investor in the stock market since 2019, I've found value in analyzing and investing in the portfolios of renowned investors. I observed, identifying overlapping stock holdings among these investors can provide insights into high-conviction investments. However, manually comparing extensive portfolios—Buffett's 40 holdings, Dalio's 691, and Kenneth C. Griffin's over 3,800 and more..—is both time-consuming ,prone to errors and practically impossible as list grows. This challenge inspired me to create a tool that automates the process. Finally sample screenshot of how output looks like : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TDq3W6vdJURCbkh3R-l10nnMMkX...

Key Features:

Scrape and compare portfolios from Top investors of your choice.

Automatically identify common stock holdings.

Display a list of investors associated with each overlapping stock.

Export results to CSV or XLSX for further analysis.

Responsive UI designed for clarity and speed.

No login required.

Free to use.

The extension is built using plain JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, utilizing Chrome's storage capabilities to scrape static webpages—no third-party APIs involved.

Not all websites display portfolios of Top Investors until we pay premium and some websites allow but each website is unique in itself. So I've presently listed some websites with their links in the FAQ section of the official site. Currently, the extension is tailored for Indian and U.S. investors. To see the extension in action, there is a short demo video in official website.

I'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions!
