I have a lot to say about this.

First, I want to start with: If you haven't read the article, this is about a woman.

I've long held the belief that bio-identical hormone replacement should be a cheap and available option for peri-menopausal and post-menopausal women.

It's difficult for me to grasp the commonplace acceptance for how degraded quality-of-life is for ageing women due to loss of endogenous hormone production.

All people deserve to feel as well as they possibly can for the duration of their lives, and with modern medicine we have the tools to do so, but the social knowledge and practice just isn't there yet.

Indeed, with ancient medicine we do too, yet we vilify and proscribe various plants and fungi that humans have used beneficially for millennia — and lawfully so, even up to mere decades ago.
