Hi HN! I’m the creator of AionUi, an open-source GUI for Gemini CLI. My early post was quiet (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=44843792), but v1.2 updates gained traction on Reddit:

Why? Managing chats, files, and API keys in Gemini CLI’s terminal is a hassle—clunky navigation, no multi-session support, and complex config.

AionUi is a free, local, open-source GUI enhancing it with a better Chat UI, file management, AI image editing, multi-agent support, multi-LLM polling, and code diff views.
