I don’t understand why the Army is stuck on linking 3D printing and drones. The two technologies are not interdependent. The US Army should be injection molding thousands of drone frames instead of wasting time 3D printing them. Treat these things like disposable toys.

Decentralization. Injection moulding requires a six figure machines and a degree to do, 3d printing can be learned in a couple of days for well under a thousand bucks.
