Should we have a cursor equivalent for every other job

I use AI every day. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Wispr Flow, and more.

But I don't think AI should just be something that you use a few times a day, but hundreds or potentially even thousands of times a day.

Coding tools like Cursor have made easy for software people to use AI all the time. And the result of that has been massive productivity unlock for them.

I think there's a way to make it possible for every other knowledge worker.

But wondering if this future looks like a single assistant that's multi use case and overlays your desktop, or are verticalized AI agents the way this will happen.

(tbh: I'm trying to build something in this space and looking for advice/opinions!)

I’d like AI companies to focus energy on augmenting dangerous or boring jobs. For example, driving a garbage truck route or operating earth moving equipment. Why do we need to eliminate knowledge workers first?
