The sea in my part of the UK continues to be unseasonally warmer, all year around. This is already changing the catch of the local fishing industries - and we had a stinking 'bloom' on the sea recently.
I certainly feel I see more jellyfish too now, but I've only lived here 10 years so could be wrong.

the way the article phrases certain descriptions of the climate, is telling

“Unfortunately, it’s to be expected,” she said"
since nothing else has pushed any real action on climate change, having to endure dry drolleries from the French might be the thing that gets people to change
