Ask HN: Text-only versions of web pages = ideal HN link format?

Even now with google cache being retired, as we still have the same caching available on yandex. It's just a few copy/paste/click sequences to get an abomination of a user experience/ reader experience to being just text on your screen again. I expect this may eventually go the same route as google and become defunt but it's been at least a year since google cache eol. I don't have my own blog but I would like to share a simple step-by-step on how to do this with HN if anyone with a blog wants to collaborate on a single post. I am basically just curious if the sentinmemt is shared, if there is interest in the format and perhaps even start looking in to methods of scripting this functionality so we aren't reliant on yandex seems like a potentially good idea, looking ahead..
