If we had faked the moon landings, then the Soviets would have been the first to let the world know - and brought the evidence. Instead, they congratulated the Americans - at the height of the Cold War.

Oh, and it wasn't just one moon landing, there were six. And the thing the deniers can never explain: the lunar retroflectors left by Apollo 14 and Apollo 15 used by observatories the world over.
