The U.S. Will Incinerate 500 Tons of Emergency Food Aid

It's a wonder that they don't find a use for all that food on the domestic front. Hunger is a problem in the US, too. But I guess under this administration everyone needs to pull themselves up by their own jock straps.

The religious right's alliance with the GOP is absurd in the sense that it appears that in practice nobody quite hates god's children as much as the religious right as far as the politicians they support goes. I'm fairly sure Jesus wouldn't go for that, but his followers seem to with gusto.

Aside from the absurd tragedy of it all, the US is throwing away its soft power.
