This weekend I was talking with some people. AI will wipe out jobs, but they are bad jobs nobody should be doing.

A specific example that came up, was an insurance company whose workers just go over what the AI has made a decision on. Hearing about it, it sounds like they just did a pytorch classification ai and not an LLM. The workers see the writing on the wall that their jobs are being replaced by AI.

I very much agree, those jobs should be completely automated. They are essentially training the ai to replace them. Why would society want these jobs? If we get rid of these jobs and better utilize peoplepower, we will get more things done. It's a good thing.
