Are we talking edibles or smoking 20 joints of skunk every day.

I worked in substance misuse for over 15 years as a methadone dispenser and care cooordinator.

I worked mainly with heroin addiction with a case load of 25 clients.

prior to 2005 I had never ever been referred a client who was having trouble with cannabis.

The old cannabis in hash form, red leb, pakistani black and morrocan etc, never seemed to cause any issues with users.

Around 2005 I started to get referrals for younger clients who had been smoking skunk. Skunk had been around for quite a few years.

Skunk, if i remember correctly is a Genetically Modified plant which can be up to 20 times stronger than the older unmodified cannabis strains.

since 2005 I had a continual supply of young clients who were struggling to manage life while smoking skunk. They had given up on life, quit university, became hostages in their own bedrooms, with paranoia, high anxiety and depression.

I am OK with peple smoking cannabis but not some GM modified synthetic drug.

you wouldnt eat GM foods so why would you smoke that shit.

I am a retired psychotherapist and smoked and consumed cannabis for three quarters of my life. I would never use any GM cannabis thats for sure.

Great that these things are studied, but the science reporting keeps repeating the same frustrating mistake: They never tell what dosage the researchers were studying.

Consider these following claims: "People who use alcohol could double their risk" and "People who drink a bottle of whiskey every day double their risk". Completely equivalent, right?
