The video is based on AIS data, and shows ships in fictitious positions when GPS manipulation is being used in the area.

The sequence of the collision shows the ship’s courses as they collide, and appears to be a reflection of the ground truth.

If GPS manipulation played a part in the collision, wouldn’t the AIS, which reflects the self -reported position of the ship, based on its internal GPS tracking system, have shown a non-collision course which actually resulted in a collision IRL?

The video presenter seems to be unaware of this apparent contradiction of the “gps spoofing theory” that he is proposing?

Is it just me, or are giant clown shoes now standard attire?
