Unlikely but I’d like for this to be true, specially if under the water. Leaving out politics and paranoia for a sec, engineering wise it would be quite an achievement.

Doomsday bunker + flaming moat + rotating bridge? A real-life dystopia in the making?

SAFE is building a luxury survival fortress in Virginia, surrounded by a lake filled with flammable liquid and only accessible via a rotating bridge. It’s designed to keep “non-members” out — but at what cost?

Are we building safe havens for humanity, or monuments to societal division?

> Speaking on Tucker Carlson’s podcast, she cited a 2017 report by Mark Skidmore, a Michigan State University economist, which stated that he and a group of scholars had uncovered $21 trillion in “unauthorized spending in the departments of Defense and Housing and Urban Development for the years 1998-2015.”

Uh huh. Stealth underground megacity construction project.
