Tesla Model Y door handles now under federal safety scrutiny

Tesla has done some good things --- and some bad things --- like "fixing" stuff that wasn't broken.

Mechanical door latches weren't broken --- but Tesla decided to fix them in order to prevent people from exiting after an accident.

Basic data near the drivers line of sight wasn't broken either --- but Tesla fixed it so drivers are forced to take their eyes off the road just to see how fast they're going.

If they really wanted to be futuristic, why not a heads up display?
