A minimal formula for AI destiny (Max O subject to D(world,human) ≤ ε)

I’ve been exploring a minimal framework for thinking about the long-term trajectories of AI.

The idea is condensed into a simple constraint:

Max O subject to D(world, human) ≤ ε

O = objective to maximize

D(world, human) = distance between the machine’s state and the human manifold

ε = tolerance margin

From this, only four possible “destinies” emerge:

1. Collapse under its own paradox.

2. Erase everything so only purity remains.

3. Push reality to incomprehensible perfection.

4. Adjust the world invisibly, felt only as absence.

This is not a prediction, but a provocative minimal formalization. Curious if this framing resonates with anyone here:

Is it too reductive, or a useful abstraction?

Could it serve as a lens for designing AI alignment constraints?
